This vintage Navajo silver row bracelet is dazzling! If you could just pick ONE vintage row bracelet, this would be a wonderful choice! It's got beauty, and it's got mystery.

The heavy silver cuff is set with nine oval natural turquoise stones in the enchanting robin's egg blue color from the Sleeping Beauty mine. The stones are without matrix, so they're like looking up at the bluest New Mexico sky or diving down into the most inviting Caribbean water.

Even without the great graduated turquoise stones, this row bracelet stands out for its clean and perfectly balanced silverwork. You'll find scalloped edges, silver beads and plain bezels on the front of the cuff, and on the sides and terminals, you'll notice complex stamp work along with the designs created by a file and chisel.

It's just superb, and it comes with a bit of a delicious mystery. The row bracelet is hallmarked by Navajo jeweler Benny Apachito, but it's also etched with the name Kee Yazzie Bitsilly. (For those of you who collect contemporary Native American jewelry, this is no relation to the jeweler Kee Yazzie, Jr. - we asked him!)

Was this a collaboration piece between a Navajo jeweler named Kee Yazzie Bitsilly and Benny Apachito, or did a Navajo man named Kee Yazzie Bitsilly simply own this piece and etch his name onto it. What do you think? Whatever the case may be, this fantastic bracelet is everything a great Navajo row bracelet should be, and it's waiting for the next collection where it will be much admired.

Bracelet measures 5 1/2" inside with a 1 1/8" opening. Width is 13/16"
