Tommy Singer Pin Pendant of Chip Inlay Dove of Peace

This early example of Tommy Singer's chip inlay work is a superb one. It's a sterling silver pin and pendant with a bird design of turquoise and coral inlay that reads PEACE.

The late jeweler is credited with bringing the chip inlay method to Navajo jewelry in the 1960's. This original, handmade pin/pendant must have been created by Tommy Singer in the 60's as a call for peace in the midst of a most tumultuous decade.

The vintage Navajo pin/pendant is such a meaningful piece of jewelry with its enduring message that is both timely and heartfelt. 

It measures 1 3/4" and is signed on the reverse.
