Back in the day, Martha Struever curated a few sets of these tiny early Navajo silver buttons. She intended to do great things with these sets - sew them on to blouses, jackets and purses using their little copper sew loops.
Some people sew buttons like these onto wide leather snap on cuff bracelets and belts to give some extra pizazz. Other people have them made into tiny earrings or sewn onto moccasins. The possibilities are many.
These are old, authentic and come with the provenance of having been in Martha Struever's private collection. One group appeared in Turquoise & Tufa's 2025 annual catalog and immediately sold. Now I'm offering another group of Marti's tiny Navajo silver buttons. You will get nine of them. They measure 7/16".
You can watch this video to see the similar ones from the catalog in action.
