About the Piece: Navajo earrings by Len Adakai of Turquoise Mosaic Inlay
There's something about all-turquoise mosaic inlay! Sure, multi-stone inlay is nice, but the uniformity of all turquoise divided only by stone cut is just divine!
These earrings are handmade by Navajo jeweler Len Adakai. They're sterling silver bars, carinated on each side and set in a center channel with delicious mosaic inlay of turquoise stones. If you notice the sterling silver edges of each earring, you'll notice that they're decorated differently. One side is linear and the other side is triangular. With all this great contemporary design, when you put these in your ears, they stand out!
They measure 1 3/8" long x 1/2" wide and they're posts for pierced ears. Signed "LA" on the reverse. From the fine collection from a dear woman who followed her passion and worked in a Native American jewelry shop.
