Hand Built Pottery Easter Basket And Eggs From San Felipe Pueblo

There's nothing like hand-made Easter decor to put all the mass produced Easter junk to shame. This little hand-built pottery Easter basket with eggs is from San Felipe Pueblo. It's hand-painted with a quail and butterflies - perfect, joyful reminders of spring. 

Two pottery Easter eggs sit inside the basket on some Easter grass. Wouldn't it be fun to add in a few little brightly colored chocolate candy eggs.

It's another piece from the private Easter collection of Native American art dealer, collector and scholar Martha Hopkins Struever. Oh, how she loved her Easter decorations! 

The little basket measures 3" 1/2" high x 3" diameter and is signed MC San Felipe, New Mexico.
