This is Volume XX of Contributions from the Museum of the American Indian, Heye Foundation. The book reports on the excavation of the pueblo site of Hawikuh which is at current day Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico by the Hendricks-Hodge Expedition of 1917-1923. The book is rich with detail. Of particular interest to Native art collectors are the numerous illustrations of gorgeous pottery designs. The book also covers topics like the native village, the mission church and friary of La Purisma Concepcion, and the artifacts found.
