Nothing sings like all silver Navajo jewelry done right. This is one of two Navajo silver guard bracelets by Albert Lee, and it sings with all it's beautiful heart.
The bracelet is simple - a rounded heavy gauge silver cuff elegantly wrapped with heavy gauge silver wire.
It's a transitional piece - contemporary in looks but steeped in traditional Navajo technique and design elements. You can stack it with your early Navajo silver cuffs, or you can pair it with your modern day bracelets. That's how great it is!
This bracelet measures 5" inside with a 1" opening. The width is 1/4". Signed on the inside.
If you hurry, there's a second similar bracelet of Albert Lee's so that you can wear them together as a fantastic pair of guards.
Albert Lee was an absolutely dear jeweler from Shiprock, New Mexico who passed away in 2022. Five generations of his family were jewelers. If you can, please take the time to watch him in this special video I discovered on Youtube that shows what a kind and precious human being he was.
If you don't have time to watch it now, here are some heart-warming take-aways:
- When Albert was only 5, his grandfather blessed him to be a silversmith one day to take over his legacy, tradition and knowledge
 - He started working as a jeweler when he was 8
 - He used all of his grandfather's handmade tools
 - He started doing Indian Market when he was just a teen in 1995 when he was accepted into Youth Indian Market
 - Sometimes, during his adult Indian Market years, he sold out at 9am the first morning of the show
 - Most significantly, Albert believed that every piece he made was living. He emphasized that his emotions, his thoughts, and his energy went into every single piece he made. It's so touching to think that Albert lives on in creations like this bracelet.
