Acoma Pottery Angel Ornament by Mae Shields

You cannot have Christmas without the angels! Angel figures are some of the most meaningful decorations of the season. 

This little vintage pottery angel ornament is a sweet and comforting presence. She's hand formed of clay and hand painted. Her little mouth is open in song. 

She was created by Mae Shields of Acoma Pueblo, the daughter-in-law of Ethel Shields, maker of the lovely pottery Christmas ball ornaments that are also from Martha Struever's holiday collection.

This darling angel will keep watch as she hangs from your tree.

She stands 2 3/8" tall with a 1 1/2" wing span. Signed.
