Navajo Silver Repousse Star Pendant With Spike By Cody Sanderson

Rock and Roll! This Cody Sanderson silver repousse star pendant with its 1/2" center silver SPIKE, is edgy, wild and attention-grabbing. These are likely the reasons why Lady Gaga is a fan of Navajo jeweler Cody Sanderson's work. Cody has certainly risen to rock star like prominence in the Native jewelry world.

This handmade piece dates circa 2006 from Cody Sanderson's earlier days, and with it's bold design, you can positively see he was headed for greatness.

The pendant measures 2 1/2" high from top of bezel by 2 1/8" wide. It's hallmarked on the reverse with Cody Sanderson's CAS stamp along with his Santa Fe and Sterling stamps. It's also stamped with stars and moons on the reverse.

In a fun aside, Cody Sanderson was the first Native American artist that I (Bonnie) met while under Martha Struever's tutelage. I remember being blown away by his fierce designs.
