Vintage Zuni Mosaic Inlay Earrings of Turquoise and Coral Pinwheels

These vintage handmade Zuni inlay earrings are striking with their multi-stone mosaic pinwheel design against their black jet background. 

To form the pinwheels or what might even be seen as an updated whirling log, turquoise, coral and white shell were used. The overall composition has then been placed into a simple silver setting.

The earrings were much adored by a life long collector of fine Native American jewelry. While they now have small signs of wear like little cracks here and there, they're strong, secure and infused with love and story. 

The Zuni earrings are posts for pierced ears and measure just a hair over an inch. When worn, they have big presence! Etched signature on the reverse.
