Vintage Zuni Inlay Sun God Dangle Necklace By J.D. Massie

This vintage necklace of channel inlay is handmade by Zuni husband and wife team, Jose and Dora Massie. The piece depicts a Tawa or Sun God with carefully inlaid stones of coral, mother of pearl, turquoise and jet.

It's the kind of piece that you kind of have to put on to appreciate in all of its bohemian glory. Keep in mind that you've got FOUR dangle sections of almost 2" each. The dangles add so much movement and interest to an already engaging design.

The necklace measures 15 1/4" from end to end plus the center pendant section of 3 7/8" long from top to bottom with a  2 1/8" width. The piece is signed J.D. Massie on the reverse.
